Mike Gauthier
Principal
Principal of Igloo’s Saskatoon office, Mike has over 30 years of high-level executive experience, including 10 years public practice in accounting, auditing, and taxation. Most recently, he spent 23 years with a global manufacturer of technologically-advanced agricultural equipment, headquartered in Saskatchewan.
Mike was raised near the south shore of Montreal, and on air force bases across Canada. He settled in Western Canada during his high school years, and attained his Certified General Accountant designation in 1981. Mike is a prolific problem solver, renowned for identifying opportunities for efficiencies, and providing financial recommendations and solutions for improvement. He has coordinated thousands of transactions, including business acquisitions, leasing, finance, foreign exchange, property insurance, and employee/management share purchase.
When he’s not spending time with his wife, kids, and grandkids, you’re likely to find Mike fishing for walleye in Saskatchewan or restoring an older model vehicle or boat in his garage.
